Ray Gillen will treat us to a refresher course on sharpening our tools in anticipation of caring for our roses. This is a “hands-on” event so bring your pruners and loppers and learn how to sharpen your own tools. Ray is excited to show you some new tricks he has learned to make the process easier. Light refreshments will be served.
This meeting will be a visual presentation on to “How to enter the June Rose Show.” There were several errors in entries at last year’s show that need to be corrected for the Rocky Mountain District Rose Show on June 8, 2019. The printed schedule for the show will be available and we will go through it to clarify the process. There will be a pot luck dinner so please bring a dish to share.
This will be the annual auction, so come and bid on rose bushes that you would like for your gardens, as well as other items such as baked goods and items related to rose gardening. Light refreshments will be provided.
Come and help us set up for the Rose show. We need many hands for this process.
