Smokey Bear/Woodsy Owl Poster Contest Underway

The Smokey Bear/Woodsy Owl Poster contest, promoted to remind local schoolchildren in grades 1-5 of the importance of preventing wildfires, is now underway. Connie MacKay, UAGC President and Smokey Bear Chairman, reports that more than 370 entries have been received. Here’s a look at last year’s winners.
