Ogden Garden Club
The Ogden Garden Club was organized and federated with the Utah Associated Garden Clubs, Inc. in April 1986. We meet every second Thursday at the Village Inn, 322 12th Street, Ogden, Utah, at 7:00 p.m. We go on vacation for the months of July and August and start up again in September.
Our activities include planting a tree in April on Arbor Day, with a little program and refreshments at the tree planting. Each year in December we have our Christmas Party. We also have a Christmas Project of donating to the homeless or Children’s Christmas Box Home.
We try to have a variety of speakers, some from local nurseries, non-profit organizations, businesses, colleges and club members. The topics have included hostas, edible flowers, and making candles, soap, and cheese with lavender. One of our speakers went to Uganda to teach the people how to garden and irrigation practices.
The meetings are open to the public and are invited to attend. For more information please contact club president David Cruz at firstname.lastname@example.org or 801-776-6330.
