Utah Woodsy Owl Poster Contest Winners Chosen

On January 26, representatives of the Utah Associated Garden Clubs gathered in the Garden Center to choose the winners of this year’s Woodsy Owl poster contest. It is Woodsy Owl’s 50th birthday, and the posters are intended to help spread his message: “Lend a Hand, Care for the Land.” In spite of the difficult pandemic situation, we received many beautiful, creative entries from children in grades 1-5. It was difficult to choose only one winner from each grade! As per the request of our Smokey Bear/Woodsy Owl chairman, the names of the winners will not be revealed until after the Rocky Mtn. Regional poster judging on March 6.
