Spring Convention Successful

Everything went very smoothly for the 2025 UAGC Spring Convention held at the Sugar House Garden Center on 4.12.25. We had 6 of our UAGC clubs represented, including one of our newest clubs: Cache Garden Club. Thank you to all my helpers.

Brenda Moore, NGC President, presented her “50 Shades of Green”, a message of how the National Garden Club can be helpful to your individual clubs. Lots of good information.

Tim Rule, a member of the Neighborhood Garden Club and our UAGC Tree advocate, then presented a promotion of the NGC Plant-A-Tree program, Tree Utah program, and Tree Note, a KRCL program. The UAGC has funded three Plant-A-Tree (formerly known as Penny Pines) memorials recently for past representatives:
-Maria Pia
-Beverly Savage
-Judith Mattinson

Remember that Arbor Day is 4.25.25 and the UAGC is hosting a volunteer opportunity to revitalize two of our memorial trees at 10 AM at the Sugar House Garden Center. Please join us!

-Sue McJames, UAGC President
